his year too, that time of year has arrived when everything is a bit magical, Christmas!
Since we moved to London I have been living Christmas with emotion and joy but also with a little nostalgia.. those tables full of laughter and delicious, typically Italian food, unfortunately we left those happy tables in Italy.
Fortunately, where there is a child, Christmas is always magical and happy! And this year for us it is even more so! 😍
Decorating the house has a different flavour, from this year there are four socks for Santa Claus!
This year we will have my brother-in-law and his girlfriend for dinner at Christmas Eve and we must think about the menu… after all we are still italian! To the delight of my husband among the courses there will be ravioli! Poor thing, I’ve been forcing him to eat ravioli for a month because the desire is really strong! I have few but persistent and very strong! I think after Christmas he won’t want to hear about ravioli for at least a year! But what can I do, pregnant women must be satisfied!
The long-awaited morning has finally arrived, Christmas morning! Nicole is in turmoil, has Santa been through here? Obviously yes! There are so many gifts under the tree and in the socks, most of them for Nicole clearly, and it’s great to see her so excited and happy! We start unwrapping all the gifts and we are all very happy, but we still have to see what is in the last sock, the smallest.. we slowly open all together and here they are: a fluffy dolphin and tiny socks with a teddy bear.. what a thrill, the first gifts, my eyes fill with tears of joy! Surely they are the smallest gifts, but the ones that carry the greatest meaning this year for all three.. indeed for all four of us!
See you at the next chapter!
Ale, mum of 2!
